The mission of the Office of Catechetical Services is to provide leadership, direction, and resources for parishes, Catholic schools and Newman Catholic Campus Ministry in the shaping of a unified vision of Catholic identity consistent with the catechetical documents of the Roman Catholic Church.

The Catechetical Consultants provide general consulting services to parishes and Catholic schools on program design for total parish catechesis, text and material selection, parish catechetical leader courses, catechetical methods, volunteer management and recruitment, curriculum, training, and certification needs for principals, catechists and teachers
